SIKKA. spektrum-ntt.com || Sebanyak 882 karyawan swasta yang bekerja di perusahaan swasta di wilayah kabupaten Sikka terkena dampak Covid-19. Hal ini disampaikan oleh kepala bidang pengawasan ketenagakerjaan Kabupaten Sikka Bapak Kasan H. Kadir, S.H ketika dimintai keterangannya di kantor dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kabupaten Sikka, Rabu (05/08/2020).

Kabid Ketenagakerjaan Kabupaten Sikka mengatakan bahwa ada tiga tahapan proses pendataan karyawan yang terkena dampak Covid-19 semenjak virus ini masuk di kabupaten Sikka. Tahap pertama yakni awal bulan Februari yakin 5 orang karyawan, Maret sampai April 143 karyawan, dan April sampai Mei sebanyak 632 karyawan. Sementara berdasarkan hasil verifikasi dari Disdukcapil Kabupaten Sikka sebanyak 681 karyawan dan tahap terakhir yang didata pada akhir bulan Juli sebanyak 201 karyawan swasta. Sehingga total keseluruhan yakni 882 karyawan.

Lebih jauh, Kabid pengawasan ketenagakerjaan mengatakan bahwa dampak yang diakibatkan oleh Covid-19 yakni penurunan upah para pekerja dan PHK dari perusahaan.

Berkaitan dengan PHK karena Covid-19, ada 3 perusahaan yang sudah mengambil keputusan untuk mem-PHK-kan para pekerjanya yakni Cv. Putra Kirana, Villa Delfia dan Hotel Sylvia.

Langkah yang diambil oleh pihak ketenagakerjaan yakin mengacu pada Surat Edaran Mentri ketenagakerjaan no. 3 tahun 2020 tentang petunjuk teknis masalah ketenagakerjaan yang lebih menekankan pada upaya kesepakatan kedua belah pihak.

" Jadi berkaitan dengan upah pekerja dan PHK, kita mengacu pada Surat Edaran Menteri Ketenakerjaan no. 3 tahun 2020 yang lebih menekankan pada upaya kesepahaman bersama. Dan kita berupaya untuk tidak sampai kepada pengadilan" jelasnya. 

Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transnigrasi Kabupaten Sikka bapak Germanus Goleng mengatakan bahwa pihak Dinas ketenagakerjaan langsung melakukan pendataan kepada karyawan swasta yang terkena dampak Covid-19 mulai dari tahap pertama sampai pada tahap terakhir. Data yang diambil didasarkan pada identitas yang bersangkutan yaitu data karyawan 'by name, by adress'. Selanjutnya dilakukan proses verifikasi bersama Disdukcapil untuk selanjutnya diserahkan kepada dinas Sosial untuk ditindaklanjuti.(**/red
