Kota Kupang. Spektrum-Ntt.com || Polemik terkait dengan skandal PPPK tahap ll di Institut Agama Kristen Negeri (IAKN) Kupang, masih menjadi konsumsi publik karena belum ada klarifikasi dari pihak kampus. Menanggapi hal tersebut, Ketua Umum (Ketum) Ikatan Kaum Intelektual Fatuleu (IKIF) Aten Bait, mengecam keras tindakan pembungkaman tersebut, sehingga ia meminta Rektor IAKN Kupang, Dr. I Made Suardana untuk melakukan klarifikasi secara terbuka soal PPPK tahap II yang dinilai ada 'konspirasi busuk' dan nepotisme, sehingga mengloloskan istri dekan, padahal porsi tersebut untuk pegawai yang telah mengabdi 12 tahun. 

“Kalau Pak Rektor punya nyali, silakan klarifikasi terbuka di depan publik. Jangan cuma diam-diam saja. Kami masyarakat dan mahasiswa sudah terlalu muak dengan praktek-praktek begini yang cuma bikin sakit hati orang kecil,” tegas Asten Bait 

kepada wartawan di bilangan Kota Kupang pada Jumat, 06 Juni 2025.

Sesuai informasi yang dihimpun pihaknya, kata Asten, nama yang dinyatakan lolos dalam PPPK tahap II tersebut bukanlah pegawai lama, melainkan istri salah satu dekan yang selama ini hanya mengabdi sebagai dosen paruh waktu (part time). Bahkan, kata dia, kehadiran yang bersangkutan di lingkungan kampus pun tidak pernah dianggap sebagai tenaga tetap.

“Orang yang sudah kerja 12 tahun lebih, dari jaman susah sampai sekarang, justru tidak diakomodir. Yang muncul malah orang baru yang hanya punya hubungan keluarga dengan pejabat. Ini bukan hanya tidak adil, tapi menjijikkan. Kampus itu tempat mencetak intelektual, bukan melayani nepotisme,” ujarnya dengan tegas.

Lebih lanjut, Asten menekankan bahwa formasi PPPK yang diperebutkan bukanlah untuk dosen, melainkan untuk pegawai. Oleh karena itu, sangat tidak masuk akal apabila seseorang yang tidak pernah tercatat sebagai pegawai justru bisa lolos seleksi.

“Porsinya itu untuk pegawai, bukan dosen. Tapi kenapa istri dekan bisa tembus? Ini tanda tanya besar. Dugaan kami, ini bukan soal kemampuan atau kontribusi, tapi soal koneksi dan kedekatan. Orang dalam jago main belakang, dan ini sangat merusak kepercayaan publik,” ujarnya.

Dirinya pun meminta agar Rektor tidak menutup-nutupi hal ini, sebab saat ini publik sudah tahu dan mencium aroma tak sedap dari hasil seleksi PPPK tersebut.

“Kita ini hidup di jaman digital, semua informasi cepat tersebar. Jangan kira publik bodoh. Kalau tidak segera ada klarifikasi resmi, maka kami akan lanjutkan aksi ke Ombudsman, Kemenag RI, bahkan ke Komisi X DPR RI. Jangan main-main dengan nasib orang yang sudah lama mengabdi,” tandas Asten.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Asten juga mengimbau seluruh civitas akademika IAKN Kupang serta masyarakat NTT untuk ikut mengawasi dan bersuara lantang terhadap praktik-praktik culas yang terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.

“IAKN Kupang harus bersih dari mental-mental kolonial yang korup. Kalau pejabatnya sudah mulai bermain api, jangan salahkan kalau mahasiswa dan rakyat bangkit lawan,” tutupnya. (ans/tim)***
