TTS.Spektrum-ntt.com || Daya tampung yang tidak cukup untuk parkiran kendaraan di Terminal kota Soe, yang dikelola Dinas perhubungan kabupaten TTS, memicu adanya parkiran liar di sejumlah titik di seputaran kota Soe.

Hal itu di ungkapkan Kepala Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan, Apolos Banunaek SE, kepada media ini diruang kerjanya Senin, 23/06/2025.

Menurut Kepala Dinas Perhubungan, Terminal kota Soe merupakan terminal Tipe C dengan daya tampung yang kecil yaitu hanya dapat menampung 22 kendaraan untuk sekali parkir, sehingga perbandingannya sangat jauh dengan jumlah kendaraan umum yang beraktivitas setiap harinya di kota Soe.

"Kapasitas tampung di terminal kota kita itu hanya 22 kendaraan per sekali parkir, nah dibanding dengan jumlah kendaraan kita saat ini yang sudah belasan ribu maka seperti apa?. Sehingga munculah parkiran-parkiran dimana ada penumpang maka orang ngetem disitu," ujar Apolos.

Lebih lanjut Apolos Banunaek juga menambahkan bahwa meskipun pihaknya telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk penertiban parkiran liar di seputaran kota Soe, namun karena kondisi yang bertolak belakang sehingga sampai dengan saat ini persoalan tersebut belum dapat teratasi.

"Secara administratif kami juga sudah berikan surat Himbauan, penegasan dan lain-lain, bahkan kami juga sudah beberapa kali melakukan penindakan tapi kendaraan ini agak beda dan biasanya kalau kita ada di lapangan dan kita ajak mereka ikut tapi setelah kita pulang dan besoknya mereka kembali ngetem di tempat semula. Tapi itulah karena kondisi," ungkap Apolos.

Mantan Kabag Keuangan Setwan tersebut juga mengatakan bahwa kabupaten TTS membutuhkan tambahan terminal tipe C di Kota Soe.

"Salah satu solusi yang saat ini kami pikirkan adalah kita perlu tambahkan terminal tipe C karena kondisi terminal kita yang ada tidak dapat menampung jumlah kendaraan yang ada di TTS," kata Banunaek. (SN/Mega)
