KUPANG. spektrum-ntt.com || Ketidak ikut sertaan Sekolah dalam kegiatan lomba cerdas cermat dalam rangka memperingati HUT Sumpah pemuda yang dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Kupang. Hal ini mendapat perhatian khusus bagi Kepala Dinas P dan K, Drs.Dumuliahi Djami,M.Si bagi para kepala sekolah.

 

Kepada media ini di ruang kerjanya, pada hari Selasa, 11/10/22 Kadis merasa kecewa dengan sikap para kepala sekolah yang tidak mengindahkan undangan Dinas, sedangkan kesempatan untuk ikut serta dalam lomba cerdas cermat telah dibuka dua kali. Dirinya berjanji akan memanggil semua Kepala Sekolah yang tidak ikut serta untuk memberikan alasan mengapa mereka tidak berpartisipasi.

 

"Setelah kegiatan ini Kepala Sekolah yang tidak ikut pasti kita panggil , kita minta alasan resminya kenapa tidak ikut, karena kita tidak ada pendaftaran berbayar, ini kan free.  Bahkan kita minta untuk mereka wajib hadir di kegiatan cerdas cermat, dan mereka dengan saya akan duduk paling dimuka." ungkapnya dengan kesal.

 

Dengan melihat animo siswa yang begitu tinggi, cerdas cermat tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan cara face to face. Dirinya juga berpesan agar siswa dan guru terus belajar lebih giat lagi,  sehingga mencapai tujuan ya itu, siswa dapat bergembira dalam mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan seperti ini.

"Cerdas cermat ini kan kita laksanakan di tingkat SD maupun SMP. Animo anak-anak begitu tinggi ya, maka kita tidak bisa faid face to face. Oleh karena itu kita akan laksanakan seleksi babak penyisihannya tu melalui tertulis, dan kita akan cari 20 besar dari SD maupun SMP. Nah kita berharap dengan kegiatan-kegiatan seperti ini, guru maupun siswa terus belajar lebih giat. tujuannya bukan cerdas cermat ya, tapi tujuannya anak-anak gembira dalam mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang dibuat oleh Dinas bersama-sama dengan kepala Sekolah dan guru-guru." tuturnya

 

Pada kesempatan tersebut Kadis berpesan kepada seluruh peserta lomba agar dapat menerima hasil yang akan diperoleh baik yang kalah maupun menang. Dirinya juga menghimbau agar kedepannya semua sekolah dapat terlibat.

 

"Ya kita laksanakan secara sportif, namanya pertandingan pasti ada yang menang dan kalah. Yang menang tetap jaga kerendahan hati dan yang kalah juga jangan kecewa. Karena kegiatan ini kita akan laksanakan setiap tahun supaya bisa mengembangkan anak-anak kita, baik SD dan SMP. Kedepan kita akan menghimbau semua sekolah untuk ikut, dan kita akan lihat gejalanya seperti apa, kita akan intervensi untuk melibatkan mereka semua." ungkap Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Kupang.

 

Mengakhiri perbincangannya dengan media ini, Dumuliahi akan mewajibkan semua sekolah untuk mengikuti kegiatan lomba sumpah pemuda yang akan dilaksanakan di salah satu radio, hal ini akan menjadi salah satu tolak ukur menilai kemampuan Kepala Sekolah sebagai Leader.

 

"Ada kegiatan sumpah pemuda yang akan dilaksanakan oleh salah satu radio, nanti kita minta semua sekolah wajib untuk ikut kegiatan ini minimal 1 orang. Disini kan kita bisa lihat kepala sekolah dan guru serius mempersiapkan siswanya, nah 1,2 siswa saja lu sonde bisa urus apalagi urus ratusan orang?" tutupnya.
