Kupang.Spektrum-Ntt.com || Aliansi Rakyat Anti Korupsi Indonesia (ARAKSI) NTT apresiasi kepada Polda NTT dan Kejati NTT yang telah berhasil menetapkan surat P21 terhadap kasus bawang merah di Kabupaten Malaka. (07/05/2021)

Kasus bawang merah Malaka cukup menelan waktu yang begitu lama dan menghabiskan energi yang pada akhirnya kedua penegak Hukum mengeluarkan surat penetapan P21 terhadap 9 orang tersangka pada tanggal 06 Mei 2021. 

Alfred Baun, S.H selaku ketua Araksi NTT menguraikan bahwa dengan bukti surat tersebut dari Araksi merasa yakin dan bangga karena apa yang telah dilakukan oleh Kejaksaan Tinggi Nusa Tenggara Timur dan Polda Nusa Tenggara Timur telah menunjukkan keseriusan kedua lembaga penegak hukum ini dalam penegakan hukum dalam penanganan korupsi di Nusa Tenggara Timur.

" karena kasus bawang merah Malaka sejak tahun 2018,2019, 2020, dan kini kita berada pada bulan mei 2021 itu adalah waktu yang tidak lama, penanganan kasus ini cukup menelan waktu dan menghabiskan energi baik dari penyidik Polda, maupun kita dari Araksi NTT yang mengatvokasi kasus ini "ujar Alfred Baun

Dengan penerapan surat P21 Araksi berharap dalam waktu singkat akan dilakukan penyerahan tahap dua dari penyidik Polda NTT, menjemput kembali 9 orang tersangka, dengan secara UU dilengkapi dengan bukti dan dokumen para tersangka, kemudian diserahkan kepada jaksa penuntut umum di Kejati NTT, agar pada selanjutnya diagendakan untuk disidangkan.

Alfred Baun, S.H melanjutkan bahwa setelah lebaran diperkirakan pada tanggal 12  akan dilakukan penyerahan tahap 2, Araksi mendukung penyidik Polda NTT untuk dalam waktu enam hari kedepan mempersiapkan segala sesuatu, agar para tersangka harus kembali dijemput untuk selanjutnya melengkapi prosedurasi secara UU yaitu para tersangka, barang bukti dan berkas untuk diserahkan kepada jaksa penuntut umum sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan.
