KUPANG.SPEKTRUM-NTT.COM|| Ketua Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Gerakan Mahasiswa Nasional Indonesia (GMNI), Nusa Tenggara Timur, Marianus Krisanto Haukilo menilai bahwa sosio-teknologi merupakan pilihan tepat bagi setiap bangsa dalam menghadapi hegemoni teknologi. 

Ketua DPD GMNI NTT, Marianus Krisanto Haukilo dalam tulisannya menyampaikan bahwa, bertepatan dengan hari demokrasinya GMNI se-Indonesia serta merujuk pada tema Dies Natalis GMNI yang ke- 68 yakni,"Sosio-Teknologi Menjawab Tantangan Kapitalisme 4.0", peran aktif para kaum milenial sangatlah dibutuhkan dalam menyikapi tantangan zaman.

Dikatakan Krisanto, sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi yang sekarang terjadi yakni pengaruh teknologi begitu besar dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia, maka peran kaum intelektual sangat dibutuhkan guna menyikapi perkembangan zaman.

"Disrupsi teknologi dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia merupakan suatu keniscayaan dan sulit rasanya jika dua entitas ini dipisahkan. Oleh sebab itu, sosio-teknologi merupakan pilihan dan jalan yang dapat ditempuh bagi masa depan setiap bangsa yang ingin tumbuh menjadi bangsa yang merdeka secara sejati, menjadi bangsa yang berdaulat, berdikari dan berkepribadian dalam menghadapi hegemoni perkembangan dan tantangan zaman, "katanya. 

Krisanto dalam tulisannya menjelaskan, Sosio-teknologi perlu dipahami sebagai upaya retoolling secara konstruktif dan sistemik terhadap relasi manusia dan ketergantungannya dengan teknologi, agar kemajuan teknologi atas nama globalisasi tidak mengakibatkan manusia teralienasi dari kehidupan sosial masyarakat dan tercerabut dari hakikat kemanusiaannya sebagai pribadi yang bermartabat dan berdaulat penuh atas kehidupannya. 

Menurutnya, sebaliknya kecanggihan teknologi harus mampu memberikan manfaat dan dampak positif bagi kehidupan manusia.

Bertepatan dengan Dies Natalis GMNI ke- 68, Krisanto pun berharap agar GMNI tetap menjadi kawah candra-dimuka dan laboratorium kehidupan bagi setiap generasi muda yang akan menjadi pemimpin di masa depan. 

"Semoga GMNI terus menjadi kawah candradimuka, tempat mendidik kader-kader bangsa agar kelak tumbuh menjadi generasi yang berkarakter, militan dan memiliki semangat pengabdian yang tinggi bagi bangsa dan negara ini", tulis mantan Wakil Kabid Kaderisasi dan Ideologi DPC GMNI Kupang Periode 2018/2020.
