Borong. Spektrum-Ntt.com || Panitia Pengawas Kecamatan Elar Selatan melantik 14 orang pengawas di tingkat desa dan kelurahan. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan di aula kantor camat Elar Selatan pada senin 16 februari 2023.

Ketua Panwascam Elar Selatan Benediktus Tiwu dalam sambutanya mengatakan bahwa para peserta yang sudah dilantik menjadi panwas desa harus mengoptimalkan tugas, wewenang dan kewajiban sebagaimana yang diatur dalam UU No. 7 thn 2017 tentang pemilihan umum (pemilu). Selain itu, strategi pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh panwas desa wajib melakukan kordinasi dengan stakeholder yang ada di tingkat desa; seperti pemdes, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, dan juga yang paling utama adalah dgn para penyelenggara pemilu yakni PPS. Hal ini dalam rangka memaksimalkan pola pengawasan partisipatif, pengawasan yang melekat pada setiap orang. 

"Kita sebagai penyelenggara pemilu di lembaga pengawasan harus menjaga integritas diri. Kepercayaan telah yang diberikan ole negara menjadi tanggung jawab besar dalam rangka mewujudakan pesta demokrasi dengan asa pemilu yakni langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia serta jujur dan adil,” paparnya. 

Lanjut kata mantan ketua PMKRI Ruteng itu bahwa Proses perekrutan sejak awal berjalan lancar, mulai dari seleksi administrasi berkas lamaran sampai pada tes wawancara. Dari 34 orang yang lolos berkas dan mengikuti seleksi wawancara, ada 14 orang yang lulus.

Proses tes wawancara dilengkapi dengan dasar penilaian sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis yang dilengkapi dengan notulen dan alat perekam selama tes wawancara.

Untuk diketahui para peserta yang lolos panwas desa/kelurahan di wilayah Elar Selatan diantaranya:
