Kupang.SpektrumNtt.com ||Pemerintah Kota Kupang kembali menyelenggarakan seleksi terbuka untuk mengisi 6 jabatan pimpinan tinggi pratama di lingkup Kota Kupang. Enam jabatan yang dimaksud antara lain; Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Kupang, Kadis Komunikasi dan Informatika, Kadis Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan, Kadis Perhubungan, Kepala Pelaksana Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah serta Kepala Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan. Pembukaan seleksi oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kota Kupang, Fahrensy P. Funay, SE, M.Si, berlangsung di Hotel Naka, Senin (27/12). Turut mendampingi Asisten Administrasi Umum Sekda Kota Kupang, Yanuar Dally, SH, M.Si, Plt. Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Sekda Kota Kupang, Ignasius Lega, SH, Kepala Badan Kepegawaian, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kota Kupang, Abraham D. E. Manafe, S.IP, M.Si, beserta  panitia seleksi dan sejumlah pimpinan perangkat daerah dan camat. 

 

Sekda dalam arahannya menyampaikan, pengisian jabatan lowong pada setiap instansi pemerintah adalah hal lumrah dan merupakan bagian dari dinamika organisasi pemerintahan dalam rangka pengembangan serta peningkatan karier seorang ASN. Hal ini juga dimaksudkan untuk lebih memperlancar pelaksanaan tugas-tugas pemerintahan dan pelayanan publik. 

 

Untuk itu, dirinya berharap, kegiatan seleksi tersebut agar dimaknai sebagai bagian dari pembenahan dan pemantapan organisasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja penyelenggaraan tugas serta pelayanan yang maksimal. Menurutnya pertimbangan utama yang digunakan dalam menentukan jabatan bagi setiap pegawai adalah kompetensi, pengabdian/loyalitas dan komitmen terhadap tugas serta tanggung jawab kepada bangsa dan negara.

 

Selain itu, diharapkan para pejabat dapat menjadi roda penggerak organisasi yaitu mampu berperan sebagai perencana, pelaksana dan pengawas penyelenggaraan tugas umum pemerintahan dan pembangunan nasional melalui pelaksanaan kebijakan dan pelayanan publik yang profesional, bebas dari intervensi politik, serta bersih dari praktik korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme.

 

Kepada para peserta seleksi, Sekda berpesan agar mempersiapkan diri sebaik mungkin dan tidak hanya sekedar ikut-ikutan saja. “Ini bukan sekedar formalitas. Tunjukkan bahwa saudara-saudara mampu dan memiliki kredibilitas. Kita mau tempatkan orang, the right man in the right place,” tegasnya. 

 

Kepala Bidang Mutasi pada Badan Kepegawaian, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Daerah Kota Kupang, Yesonia M. N. Manu, SE, dalam laporannya menyampaikan dalam seleksi kali ini pihaknya bekerja sama dengan aksesor dari Badan Kepegawaian daerah Provinsi NTT dan psikolog . Sementara panitia seleksi berjumlah lima orang yang terdiri atas unsur Pejabat  Pimpinan Tinggi Pemkot Kupang dan akademisi/profesional. *PKP_ans
