Kupang.Spektrum-Ntt.com || Dalam masa kepemimpinan Wali Kota Kupang, Dr. Jefirstson R. Riwu Kore,MM,MH (Jeriko), di Tahun 2022 akan memprioritaskan program bantuan bedah rumah dengan jumlah 359 Unit Rumah bagi masyarakat kurang mampu, dan beberapa Program prioritas lainnya seperti, pembangunan Bundaraan Eltari, Bundaran Patung Kirab, Drainase dan Trotoar serta Tempat Penampung Air (TPA) dan Penataan Taman di Pesisiran Pantai.

Demikian disampaikan Wali Kota Kupang, Dr. Jefirstson R. Riwu Kore,MM,MH kepada tim media ini dalam audens bersama Komunitas Wartawan Peduli Kemanusiaan (KWPK) diruang kerjanya Rabu, 16/02/2022.

“Program-program unggul ini kita sudah siapkan dalam tahun ini untuk kita kerjakan, dan memang ada beberapa program lainnya yang ada hambatan seperti terlambatnya ijin dari hotel Aston dan lMB itu sehingga ketika mau memasukan perencanaan itu agak susah namun itu saya sudah komunikasihkan dengan Bapak Wakil Gubernur, Drs. Josef Nae Soi, M.M. dan Kementrian Pusat sehingga kita akan dilanjutkan dalam tahun ini,” jelas Jeriko.

Lanjut Jeriko, memang ada beberapa program yang terhambat, yang dimana sudah ada perjanjian dengan Kementrian namun permohonan itu akan tetap berjalan walaupun saya tidak lagi jadi Walikota tetap program itu akan berjalan.

Seperti Drainase dan Trotoar, Bundaran Eltari, Bundaran Patung Kirab dan penataan Taman di Pesisiran pantai Pasir panjang sampai Kampung Solor, dan TPA, bebernya.

Jeriko juga menjelasakan tentang penataan Bundaran Eltari itu desainnya Etnis dari TTU, dan ada motif-motif Sabu seperti Patung Bundaran Kirap itu akan di ubah seperti hutan Lontar dan batu karang yang tajam seperti di Ina Boi, jelasnya.

Menurut Jeriko, bahwa ditahun berikut akan ada penataan daerah pantai yang merupakan kerja sama dengan pemerintahan pusat, pembagunan yang termasuk di depan Toko Arjuna dengan desainnya dari pinggir laut dengan Lopo kecil untuk tempat bersantai dan berfoto.

Sementara itu, untuk Air bersih memang masih ada kesulitan karena terhambat oleh pemukiman penduduk dan terjal sehingga tidak bisa dikerjakan secara manual, serta pembagunan pipanisasi di Fontein yang salah satu masyarakat disana tidak mau pipa lewat halaman rumahnya, jelas Jeriko.

“Dan untuk pembangunan tahap pertama dari pemerintah pusat, pembagunan itu di rencanakan di Air Sagu tetapi karna Covid maka di pending sementara, akan tetapi ada permohonan pun di BTN Kolhua sehingga kalau Masyarakat Kolhua menyetujui maka di Liliba akan di batalkan, sementara untuk pembenahan yang berikut pun akan di lakukan di TPA Alak agar lebih baik lagi.” imbuhnya. 

Sementara untuk program benah rumah di tahun 2022 ini ada 359 unit yang terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu kerja sama dengan Pemerinta Pusat, dengan total bantuan dari Pemerintah Pusat sebesar 21 juta dan itu merupakan bantuan pusat sebanyak 249 unit rumah dengan persyarat harus ada sertifikat, sementara kita dari Kota dananya 30 juta, dengan total 110 Unit rumah dengan syarat kalau pun tinggal di Tanah orang harus mendapat ijin, sedangkan bantuan pribadi pun seperti penambahan televisi, tempat tidur dan lain-lain itu dari setiap pribadi pemerintahan, Jelas Wali Kota Kupang.

Sementara untuk penerangan disetiap jalan di tahun ini akan di tambahkan sehingga di setiap gang akan menjadi terang tetapi semua itu harus ada komitmen dari semua pemerintahan karena banyak lampu yang dicuri, maka untuk menjaga kenyamanan itu kita akan memasang banyak cctv di Kota Kupang.
