KOTA KUPANG. spektrum-ntt.com || Sorotan mata siswa/i tampak sangat polos. Wajah mereka tampak lugu. Pakaian mereka tampak sederhana. Namun semangat mereka bak ‘menyala’ untuk terus berpacu dengan sekolah lainnya di Kota Kupang walaupun dalam keterbatasan fasilitas belajar.

 

Itulah sekilas kesan yang saya  tangkap ketika mendatangi Sekolah Dasar  Inpres (SDI) Nefosaka pada Senin (14/11/22). Seperti yang saya disaksikan, para siswa/i kelas  6 tampak tekun mengikuti pelajaran yang dibawakan guru.

 

Sementara kelas lainnya, mereka tampak sibuk mengerjakan tugas kelompok yang diberikan guru. Mereka tampak antusias untuk belajar walaupun dengan keterbatasan berbagai fasilitas di sekolah tersebut.

 

Dari sorot anak-anak yang masih lugu itu, mereka tampak gembira berada di lingkungan sekolah. Mereka menyapa begitu melihat saya mendekati kelas mereka. “Selamat siang Pak,” sapa mereka.

 

Peserta didik di sekolah yang letaknya tak jauh dari hutan lindung dan penangkaran rusa di Kelurahan Fatukoa itu tampak tak sebanyak sekolah lain di dalam Kota Kupang. Jumlah siswa seluruhnya hanya ada 90 orang. Terbagi dalam 6 rombongan belajar/kelas. Jumlah rata-rata per kelas sekitar 15 orang siswa.

 

Ketika tiba di lingkungan sekolah tersebut, Saya pun meminta ijin untuk berkeliling di lingkungan sekolah. Ada yang menarik perhatian saya, yakni 3 ruang kelas darurat dan WC darurat yang digunakan oleh siswa/i dan para guru.

 

WC darurat untuk siswa tampak berada di sisi timur sekolah. Sedangkan WC darurat untuk guru/pegawai tampak berada di sisi barat sekolah. Tepat di belakang Kantor Tata Usaha dan ruang Kepala Sekolah.

 

Kepala Sekolah Dasar Inpres (SDI) Nefosaka, Magroni Triyanus Nomleni, S.Pd yang dikonfirmasi  wartawan pada Senin (28/11/22) pagi, membenarkan adanya WC darurat yang digunakan siswa/i dan para guru. “WC darurat yang pak lihat, itu merupakan swadaya dari komite sekolah pak. Ada 2 uni init WC yang sementara di bangun oleh komite sekolah beserta seluruh orangtua siswa dan guru-guru. Di bangun di belakang kantor,” jelasnya.

 

Mengenai Laboratorium komputer, Nomleni menjelaskan, SDI Nefosaka telah memiliki ruang Laboratorium Komputer. “Sekolah sudah ada ruang lab komputer tetapi belum ada isinya pak. Kalau lemari dan mejanya sudah ada. Rata-rata rombongan belajar 15 orang. Jadi kami butuhkan tambahan komputer minimal 10 unit untuk pelaksanaan ANBK (Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer) bagi siswa,” ungkapnya.

 

Selain masih kekurangan komputer, lanjut Nomleni, pihaknya juga membutuhkan  LCD pelaksanaan ujian UNBK. Karena anak-anak melaksanakan Ujian UNBK  selalu dititip di sekolah lain. “Sekitar 3 bulan lalu, kami mendapat bantuan 4 unit laptop dari Dinas P & K Kota Kupang,” katanya.

 

Menurut Nomleni, yang sangat dibutuhkan SDI Nefosaka saat ini adalah fasilitas WC.  “Kami sangat butuh WC yang sehat pak. Baik untuk siswa/i maupun para guru. Memang sementara dibangun oleh komite sekolah tapi masih seperti yang sudah pak lihat sendiri. Itu disesuaikan dengan hasil kerja, kesepakatan dan kemampuan orangtua,” ungkapnya.

 

SDI Nefosaka juga belum memiliki rumah penjaga sekolah. “Kalau rumah penjaga sekolah tidak ada. Kalau ruang UKS sudah ada pak,” ujar Nomleni.

 

Kepsek Nomleni menjelaskan, ada 6 orang guru dan ditambah kepala sekolah. “Guru yang berstatus ASN hanya guru kelas 6 dan saya. Sedangkan guru kelas 1 sampai kelas 5, semuanya guru honor. Untuk pegawai ada dua orang pegawai honor. Satu orang penjaga sekolah dan 1 orang operator sekolah,” rincinya.

 

Ketika dimintai tanggapannya terkait keterbatasan berbagai fasilitas belajar di SDI Nefosaka, Kepsek Nomleni menyatakan, keterbatasan fasilitas di sekolah tersebut tidak menjadi alasan untuk anak didik dan para guru berpangku tangan. “Justru sebaliknya, mau tak mau, kami harus berpacu dengan sekolah lain,” tandasnya.

 

Bagi Nomleni, tugas yang diemban pihaknya sudah menjadi tanggung jawab yang wajib dijalankan. “Sudah menjadi tanggungjawab kami, baik guru-guru dan saya selaku kepala sekolah. Sehingga dengan berbagai keterbatasan yang adapun kami tetap memacu diri untuk jalankan tugas kami dengan baik dan bertanggung jawab,” tegasnya. (cnn/ian)
