Belu.Spektrum-ntt.com || Terkait bentrok antar masyarakat yang terjadi di Kecamatan Kakuluk Mesak, Polres Belu terjun langsung untuk memfasilitasi prosesi penyelesaian persoalan secara adat. Hal itu dilakukan pihak Polres Belu dengan tujuan untuk menekan angka kriminalitas dan perselisihan pendapat serta meningkatkan keamanan, ketertiban masyarakat (Kamtibmas) bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Sekelompok warga dari dua desa yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Kakuluk Mesak, Kabupaten Belu terlibat keributan di Desa Jenilu, pada Minggu (27/10/2024) malam.

Keributan tersebut tidak menelan korban jiwa. Suasana yang awalnya sempat memanas karena aksi saling lempar antara warga dari kedua desa tersebut berhasil kondusif pasca anggota Polres Belu dan Polsek Kakuluk Mesak yang dipimpin langsung Kapolres Belu, AKBP Benny Miniani Arief, S.I.K terjun ke tempat kegiatan perkata untuk membubarkan warga yang terlibat kericuhan. Suasana malam itu kembali normal.

Selanjutnya, guna meredam terjadinya konflik sosial yang dapat mengancam keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, Kapolres Belu pada hari senin 28 Oktober 2024, mengambil langkah cepat dan strategis yakni mempertemukan kedua kelompok tersebut untuk dilakukan mediasi (Restorative Justice).

Mediasi yang berlangsung di Kantor Polsek Kakuluk Mesak pukul 13.00 Wita ini dihadiri Kabag Ops Polres Belu, Kasat Intelkam Polres Belu, Sekcam Kakuluk Mesak, Kasat Samapta Polres Belu, Kapolsek Kakuluk Mesak, Kepala Desa Jenilu dan Kepala Desa Kenebibi. Selain itu, mediasi ini pun melibatkan anggota Pos AL Atapupu, Para Tokoh Adat, Tokoh Masyarakat serta perwakilan Masyarakat Desa Jenilu dan Kenebibi.

Dalam mediasi tersebut telah dicapai kesepakatan bersama, bahwa antara kedua belah pihak bersedia berdamai dan akan dilaksanakan penyelesaian secara kekeluargaan (secara adat).

Prosesi penyelesaian secara adat ini difasilitasi Polres Belu bersama Pemerintah Desa Jenilu dan Desa Kenebibi akhirnya dilaksanakan pada Rabu 30 Oktober 2024, yang berlangsung di Uma Kukun Tabauk, Kompleks Pekuburan Adat Desa Kenebibi, Kecamatan Kakuluk Mesak Kabupaten Belu.

Prosesi sumpah perdamaian dan ritual adat antara masyarakat kedua desa tersebut dihadiri Kapolres Belu, AKBP Benny Miniani Arief, S.I.K dalam hal ini diwakili Wakapolres Belu, KOMPOL Lorensisus, S.H., S.I.K, Kabag Ops Polres Belu, Kasat Sat Samapta Polres Belu, Kapolsek Kakuluk Mesak, KBO Sat Samapta, Kasi Propam Polres Belu dan Sekcam Kakuluk Mesak, Anggota Pos AL Atapupu, Kepala Desa Jenilu, Kepala Kenebibi serta Tokoh Adat ,Tokoh Masyarakat dan Tokoh Pemuda dari kedua desa.

Prosesi sumpah adat perdamaian yang mendapat pengamanan ketat dari tim gabungan Polres dan Polsek jajaran diawali dengan sapaan dari Kepala Desa Jenilu dan Kepala Desa Kenebibi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan prosesi adat yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Suku Atok Bau.

Dihadapan aparat kepolisian dan TNI, Pemerintah Desa dan para tokoh yang hadir, kedua belah pihak sepakat tidak akan mengulangi perbuatan serupa, baik secara perorangan maupun kelompok.

Kesepakatan damai tersebut membuahkan hasil positif, yakni kedua belah pihak berjanji akan bersama-sama menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di lingkup Kabupaten Belu khususnya di Wilayah Kecamatan Kakuluk Mesak.

Wakapolres Belu dalam kesempatan tersebut mengimbau kedua pihak yang bertikai untuk tidak mudah terprovokasi dan membuat tindakan atau aksi yang dapat memancing gesekan ataupun konflik baru.

Prosesi ritual adat yang dilaksanakan ditempat ini, lanjut Wakapolres Belu, menjadi sesuatu yang sakral menurut keyakinan secara turun temurun dari leluhur kepada alam dan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa, sehingga bagi yang melanggar akan menanggung resiko sendiri.

"Terkait apa yang sudah terjadi kemarin, Saya mewakili bapak Kapolres Belu meminta saudara-saudara yang hadir disini untuk sampaikan kepada keluarga, teman-teman di luar agar tidak terprovokasi dengan isu yang beredar di luar. Kita juga jangan jadi pemicu dengan membuat tindakan yang berpotensi terjadinya gesekan. Ingat saudara-saudara, ada hal penting yang harus kita utamakan, yaitu keluarga dan keselamatan orang banyak," imbau Wakapolres Belu.

Orang nomor dua Polres Belu ini melanjutkan, kalau situasi tidak aman, tentu kita semua juga merasa tidak nyaman dan resah untuk beraktivitas. 

Untuk itu, sambungnya, ia mengharapkan kedewasaan dari warga semua disini untuk hari ini kita dapat menyelesaikan dan lupakan kejadian yang terjadi beberapa hari lalu. 

"Harapan saya kejadian ini adalah kejadian yang terakhir karena apabila kejadian ini kembali terulang kembali ,kami dari kepolisian akan mengambil tindakan tegas sesuai hukum yang berlaku," tegas Wakapolres Belu. (Nanny)
